SIMULATION USING MONTE CARLO METHODE OF EVANESCENT WAVE PLASTIC OPTICAL FIBER SENSOR FOR MEDICAL APPLICATION
Conference paperThis project discusses theoretical and practical aspects of modeling of evanescent waves in plastic optical fibers.
The simulation process is based on realization of the beam motion in a three dimensional virtual fiber. The simulation will be based on Monte Carlo methods. Monte Carlo (MC) simulations are the standard tool for describing jet like multi particle final states. To apply them to the simulation of medium modulated jets in heavy ion collisions, a probabilistic implementation of medium induced quantum interference effects is needed
